So far, I have been explaining that I'd like accurate representations of the answer so that if I'm not able to automate the task fully, I'll attempt to either reduce the risk, or make it easier to do. To do that though I need to understand fully the tasks being completed.
That seems to resonate somewhat with them. This is also being practised currently on internal stakeholders, and there usually is more than 1 person doing the same task at the scale we're at, so i'm able to confirm it with multiple stakeholders.
If they are grouping up to try and boost priority, I don't think I can control that. But the problem obviously means a lot to a group of them at that point so its not a loss to fix regardless!
How do you get realistic numbers for I or E? Those seem easy to game for stakeholders that really want their special project at the top of the list.
